With easyMarkets, first identify the product you are opening. An easyTrade premium, a longer-dated option and a margined CFD have different ticket fields and cash consequences.
This review covers: the BVI legal directory, short-duration easyTrade terms, ordinary option disclosures and payment records. Public pages describe available features; personal eligibility, live orders and withdrawals were not tested. Your accepted agreement and actual ticket still need checking.
Match the international page to the company in your agreement
The checked international legal directory links a June 2026 agreement for EF Worldwide Ltd in the British Virgin Islands. The BVI FSC entry independently lists that name, the category Dealing as Principal and status Currently Regulated Entities. Its displayed date is 31 August 2026. This limited record does not identify your account or settle all permissions.
The international site's footer states licence SIBA/L/20/1135 and company registration 2031075. These are different identifiers; the licence number here comes from the provider's documents, not a number displayed in that FSC entry. Do not substitute a similarly named Seychelles company or infer European or Australian protection from other group relations.
- Retain the actual accepted agreement, country route and company name.
- Match the company to the appropriate authority record and permitted activity.
- Confirm account eligibility and any applicable complaints or compensation arrangements separately. An English website does not establish an English jurisdiction.
During research, browser visits retained the international route while some web retrievals redirected to Australia or Europe. Those regional pages were not treated as proof of BVI account entitlements.
Start with the product type, then read its fields
The provider's ways-to-trade page separates CFDs, options, forwards and easyTrade. A matching asset name does not make their risk calculation interchangeable.
| Product | What the reviewed source describes | What to retain from the ticket |
|---|---|---|
| easyTrade | A short-duration vanilla option; a chosen premium and a fixed duration. | Premium currency, duration, equivalent deal size, payout and expiry timestamp. |
| Ordinary vanilla option | The product page describes selected FX pairs, gold and silver, with expiry choices from one day to six months. | Call/put, strike, expiry date and time, premium and closing value. |
| CFD | A separate margined trading route. Option premium rules do not determine its margin or close-out conditions. | Full symbol, quantity, required margin, price side, financing and accepted close-out rules. |
The ordinary option page describes payment of the premium at opening and no overnight swap charges on that option route. This does not make the premium free or extend that treatment to a CFD. Its description of price exposure also does not establish physical ownership or delivery of the underlying asset.
Keep the product label in every screenshot or export. A statement containing only “gold” or “EUR/USD” is insufficient to reproduce the contract calculation.
Resolve the published time differences before setting a reminder
The ordinary option FAQ states expiry at 14:00 GMT, paired with 10:00 New York, and a daily opening break of 20:30–22:30 GMT. The separately checked trading-hours page, displaying a 4–24 October 2026 schedule, says options expire at 10:00 New York and restricts new options from 20:30–23:59 GMT. It also notes instrument-specific daylight-saving changes and possible platform differences.
These published opening windows differ. This review cannot resolve which applies to a particular ticket. Do not assume a New York time has one fixed GMT conversion throughout the year, or use the CFD market's close as the option expiry. A one-hour easyTrade duration also needs its own exact opening and expiry timestamps.
- Record the product, instrument, calendar date and timezone shown on the actual ticket.
- Obtain the applicable opening restriction and expiry timestamp for that date.
- Distinguish a restriction on new orders from the ability to close an existing deal.
- After expiry, compare the recorded closing time and payout with the agreed schedule.
The hours page allows close-only restrictions or disabled trading during liquidity or volatility disruptions. Public hours are therefore insufficient evidence that a particular order was executable at a particular price.
TradingView access does not include every easyMarkets product
Section 2.5 of the June 2026 BVI agreement expressly excludes easyTrade and Vanilla Options from TradingView. Confirm the product interface rather than transferring a feature from the proprietary platform to a broker connection on TradingView.
For a platform change, retain the account number, full instrument name and order identifier. Check whether you are viewing the same account and whether the position appears in its transaction history. A chart, notification or visible login is not evidence that a requested close has completed. No live platform connection or order execution was tested in this review.
Separate withdrawal processing from receipt
Sections 4.9.2–4.9.4 of the same BVI agreement require verification and describe best efforts to process withdrawals within two business days, with timings subject to outside events. They do not promise arrival at a bank within 48 elapsed hours. Original-source return rules, card refund routing and conversion can affect the route and amount.
Section 4.9.7 separately addresses crypto-wallet funding: it excludes chargebacks, credits the net receipt and provides for profit withdrawals through another method chosen by the company, with charges borne by the client. A crypto deposit therefore does not establish that profits can be withdrawn in the same coin.
The funding page advertises no provider funding/withdrawal fee, while qualifying published processing estimates as third-party estimates. Read this alongside the accepted contract and your payment provider's charges; it does not establish a zero total cost.
- Retain the request reference, amount, currency, destination and verification status.
- Obtain the company processing status and external payment reference.
- Check the receiving bank or wallet record for actual credit and any conversion or deductions.
- For a missing or different amount, reconcile those records before treating an account debit as successful receipt.
Questions to settle before proceeding
Does zero spread mean I can use easyTrade without paying?
No. The reviewed easyTrade route charges a premium. Compare its debit with the later payout credit and any separate cash entries.
Can I move an easyTrade expiry to a later date?
The reviewed terms do not allow extension of the chosen duration. Check the actual closing record; changing a reminder or chart does not change a contract.
Does “processed” mean the receiving bank has paid me?
Confirm actual credit at the destination separately. Preserve the request, payment reference, currency conversion and recipient record.
