Many brands operate multiple entities. The regulation promoted on the homepage may not be the entity you contract with. Check the client agreement, onboarding page and footer company information.
## Step 2: open the regulator register
Search the exact legal name on the official regulator register, not only the brand nickname. Match status, domain, address and warning records.
## Step 3: save evidence
Save screenshots of the register, onboarding link, client agreement, footer company page, support confirmation and timestamps.
## Pause immediately when
Domain does not match, support asks for unknown app download, receiving account is not under company name, or the agreement points to an offshore entity.
