Check the local authorities, licensed entities, client-protection limits and official complaint routes for Indonesia.
In Indonesia, commodity-futures and related derivatives brokerage authorisation should be checked through BAPPEBTI’s official legality service. Match the licensed company, permission category, registered website and contracting entity; a foreign licence does not replace Indonesian authorisation.
BAPPEBTI and OJK have different statutory roles. BAPPEBTI regulates commodity-futures trading; OJK oversees financial services and consumer protection within its remit. A general claim of “OJK regulated” alone does not prove a retail-forex commodity-broker licence.
Local authorisation, foreign regulation and offshore incorporation are different facts. An FCA, ASIC or other foreign licence does not automatically authorise a platform to provide locally licensed commodity-futures services to Indonesian customers.
Match the full entity and permission category in the BAPPEBTI search, then check the client agreement and payment recipient. A foreign licence, company certificate or unverifiable screenshot alone is insufficient evidence.
Preserve the contract, account history, transfers, domain and messages. Use BAPPEBTI’s official complaint route for commodity-futures matters; confirm OJK’s jurisdiction and channel separately for other financial-services consumer issues.
This list reflects only locally licensed relationships verified in our database. It does not prove that a broker accepts every location or client category; confirm the contracting entity before opening an account.
Headquarters describe corporate background only; they do not establish a local licence, customer eligibility or local protection.
