Check what a NAGA stock position actually holds
A familiar company name on a trading screen does not identify the product, the custody arrangement or the applicable fee. For NAGA's European service, start with the transaction record and the accepted stock terms.
Identify the company, then the instrument
The CySEC company record lists Naga Markets Europe Ltd, licence 204/13, licence date 20 June 2013 and company registration 251168. Its approved domains include naga.com/eu. This identifies a specific company; it does not establish which company holds an individual account or that every group product has the same protection.
The European homepage distinguishes real stocks and ETFs from CFDs. Its footer limits the European company's service to EEA residents, excluding Belgium, and identifies different operators for other regional sites. Retain the legal name on your own agreement before comparing product conditions.
Under clause 14.12 of the current August 2026 client agreement, an instruction to sell a stock you do not hold is treated as a CFD transaction. The ticker alone is therefore insufficient.
| Question | Useful record | What it helps distinguish |
|---|---|---|
| What was bought? | Product type, instrument identifier, direction and completed quantity. | A security holding versus a derivative referencing that security. |
| Where is it held? | Account statement and applicable custody terms. | An account entitlement versus registration in your own name. |
| Can it move? | Written eligibility, receiving details and a dated charge quote. | A transfer request versus an accepted and completed transfer. |
| What did it cost? | Applicable tariff, offer conditions and posted charge. | A promotional headline versus the charge for that trade. |
| What was credited? | Event reference, eligible quantity, gross amount, deductions and currency. | An expected distribution versus the amount actually received. |
Separate a holding from registration and voting access
Clause 24.31 describes pooled stock registration and possible sub-custodians, including identification delays and shortfall risk on insolvency. Clause 14.16 does not require NAGA to arrange shareholder meetings or voting.
If voting is important to your reason for holding a company, obtain the available process and deadline before assuming that a displayed share quantity gives you an actionable vote. Keep any acceptance or rejection of your instruction. A corporate logo, dividend entry or market value does not answer that operational question.
For custody, retain statements that identify the account and instrument. Check whether the quantity reconciles with completed purchases, sales, transfers and corporate events. A discrepancy in a displayed balance needs those underlying records before its cause can be established.
These published arrangements do not identify the actual custodian for your particular security or prove the outcome of a future insolvency claim. Obtain the relevant account documentation where that detail matters.
Obtain a transfer decision for the actual holding
Clauses 14.3–14.4 say transfers out are generally unavailable, while also allowing additional provider-dependent charges where a transfer occurs. This is not an unconditional transfer facility.
A useful enquiry specifies the instrument identifier, market, quantity, account holder and receiving institution. Ask whether the holding is eligible, which documents are needed, what each party charges and what happens if the receiving institution rejects it. Preserve the answer before treating a request as accepted.
Distinguish moving securities from selling them and withdrawing cash. Those routes require different records and may have different costs and consequences. A successful cash withdrawal does not demonstrate that the same security can be transferred in specie.
After an accepted transfer, reconcile the outgoing statement with the receiving statement and the completed quantity. Keep unresolved differences separate from completed movements. This review did not submit a transfer or verify an individual receiving broker.
Resolve the commission discrepancy before using a tariff
The European homepage advertises zero commission on real stocks, subject to conditions. The official trading-fees help article, updated 20 November 2025, instead lists €3 on opening and €3 on closing real stocks. It also lists a separate 0.10% ETF commission and directs readers to the regularly updated fee table.
The homepage's linked zero-commission conditions returned 404 during this review. The public pricing table did not expose populated instrument rows in the retrieved response. Neither result establishes a zero charge or proves that the older help-page tariff applies to your next trade.
Obtain the current conditions for the company, account, instrument and order date. Check whether a promotion has eligibility requirements or exclusions, and whether the quoted figure covers opening, closing or both. Keep currency conversion, taxes and other applicable charges separate from commission.
Cost illustration, not a current quote: If a hypothetical €600 purchase incurred €3 on entry and €3 on exit, that €6 would equal 1% of the purchase value before price movement and other costs. Under an applicable zero-commission offer, that particular commission component could differ. The illustration cannot choose which tariff applies to you.
Reconcile the distribution, deductions and final credit
Clause 14.17 describes dividends net of applicable taxes on pooled holdings. Section 15 allows corporate-event outcomes in instruments or cash and describes timing dependencies. The form and amount of a particular credit still require its event record.
Record the issuer's event, the relevant holding quantity, the expected currency and the account entry. If the gross distribution and net credit differ, request the deductions and any conversion calculation. Do not label the difference a broker commission solely because the account received less than the announced gross amount.
For a split, compare the before-and-after quantity with the event terms. For a cash adjustment, retain its calculation and reference. A change in the number of units alone is insufficient to conclude that value was gained or lost: the price, event and cash entries need to be considered together.
Keep dividend income records distinct from any adjustment on a CFD. Product identity should be established first; similar issuer names or account labels cannot resolve it.
Ask a question that the records can answer
- Identify the European company and your accepted agreement version.
- Match the instrument type and completed transaction to the holding.
- Retain the statement, custody terms and relevant corporate-event notice.
- For a transfer, obtain eligibility and charges for that exact holding.
- For a fee difference, attach the applicable tariff or offer and the posted debit.
- Request a written explanation identifying any correction and its date.
For example, “Which tariff caused this €3 debit on this instrument and date?” is more precise than asking whether the platform is commission-free. Preserve the response alongside the original entry so a later correction remains traceable.
Questions about NAGA stock holdings
Does the same ticker mean I hold the same product?
No. Check the recorded product type, direction and completed transaction. The European agreement specifically treats selling an unheld stock as a CFD instruction.
Can I assume my stocks can be moved to another broker?
No. Obtain eligibility, receiving requirements and charges for the actual holding. The published agreement does not promise unrestricted outward transfers.
Is zero commission confirmed for my account?
Not by this review. The homepage and dated help article differ, and the linked offer conditions were unavailable. Your applicable terms and charge record are needed.
